Vicar Revd Cathy Helm.

We are delighted that the Revd Cathy Helm has joined us as Vicar for the joint benefice of Dacre, Matterdale, and Watermillock. Cathy was licensed by Bishop James at Dacre Church on 26th September 2021.

Assistant Curate: Revd Gordon Dugmore.

After much training and study, Gordon was ordained at the beginning of September 2021 in Carlisle Cathedral.  He was pleased to formally accept the offer from Bishop James to the post of SSM Assistant Curate for the Benefice of Dacre and will be working closely with Cathy.

Lay Reader: Mrs Kay Hall.

We are very proud to welcome Kay as our new Lay Reader, she was licensed at Carlisle Cathedral in November 2023 by the Bishop of Penrith, the Rt Rev Rob Saner-Haigh who officiated at the annual Reader and Admission Licensing Service .

There are four churchwardens, who are elected annually at the Vestry Meeting and for 2022/23, two are currently elected. They are:

• Mrs. Jane Hasell-McCosh.
• Mr. Robert Hasell-McCosh.

The Treasurer is Dr. Richard Hall.

The Secretary is Mr. Jeremy Mead.

The Safeguarding Officer is Mr. David Harrison.
