Electrol Roll

St Andrew’s, Dacre Electoral Roll March 2025

Every 6 years the Church of England completely renews its Electoral Roll for each parish church. Anyone who is on the current Electoral roll will need to reapply as the new roll starts completely afresh.

You don’t automatically get you name put onto the new one, you will have to apply on the forms provided at the back of church or here. Please print the form (follow the link here or below), complete and sign it. Scan and send to admin@dacrechurch.com, by the 28th April.

Who can apply?

Those who can be on the Electoral roll include anyone who is baptised, over 16 years of age who lives within the Parish of Dacre which includes Dacre, the surrounding villages, Stainton, Newbiggin and Great Blencow.

Anyone who regularly attends the church can also apply even if they do not live in the parish. If you regularly attend more than one church, it is possible to be on more than one Electoral Roll.

Why apply?

Being on the Electoral Roll enables you to vote at the AGM and (even if you live outside the parish), it means your new family can be baptized, married or buried at St Andrew’s church.

When do I need to do this?

The time frame for this is quite tight as the date for new names to be added for Dacre church closes on 3rd May and the new Roll will be displayed to allow names to be checked for accuracy until the APCM on Sunday 18th May following the 9.30am service.
